A KlinikFlow licence is a file, for one computer, for a year. It is checked on the clinic’s own computer — there is no licence server to be unreachable. Every member of staff is included.
1. How licensing works
- Try it for 30 days. A new copy runs in full for thirty days. Its last week is shown on every screen.
- Find this computer’s code. In KlinikFlow, open Settings → Licence. It shows the computer’s code, like
492C-78E9. The licence is made for that code. - Choose a plan and pay. At license.klinikflow.in, or by writing to app@klinikflow.in with the clinic’s name, the computer’s code and the plan. The plans are on the pricing page.
- Apply the file. You receive a licence file (
.lic). In Settings → Licence, choose the file. It is checked on the spot, with no internet. Renewing is the same, a year at a time. - A new computer. Moving to a new reception PC? Ask us for the licence on its code; your records move with the backup.
KlinikFlow Cloud is not licensed by file: its plan is the clinic’s subscription, kept at license.klinikflow.in.
2. Buy or renew
Have ready: the clinic’s name as it should be licensed, the computer’s code, your current licence key if renewing (it begins KFLW-), and the plan. Then:
- online at license.klinikflow.in, or
- by email to app@klinikflow.in, or by phone on +91 76766 64374. We reply within a working day with the invoice and how to pay.
3. If a licence runs out
- A week ahead, everyone is told on every screen.
- Then fourteen days’ grace, with everything working.
- After that, new bills stop — but every record can still be read, printed and backed up, and bills already raised can still be paid. Care already begun is never stopped.
- From KlinikFlow 3.0 a clinic whose licence or trial has ended is on the free plan: a single-doctor clinic carries on billing; a bigger clinic’s new bills wait until a plan is chosen.
4. The licence terms
These are the agreements KlinikFlow shows at its first-run setup, and the Windows installer shows before anything is installed, word for word. Accepting them there is accepting them here.
Terms of use · version 1.0
KlinikFlow is licensed to this clinic for one year at a time. The software runs entirely on this computer. AshuLabs provides no warranty that it is fit for any particular clinical purpose, and it does not replace a clinician’s judgement. When a licence expires the clinic keeps full read, print and backup access to every record it has created — only new billing stops.
Privacy · version 1.1
Patient records never leave this computer: KlinikFlow keeps them here, with no cloud copy. It uses the internet only for what the clinic turns on — WhatsApp sending through a Business account, updates, and, if the clinic agrees, a daily check-in telling AshuLabs this copy is in use: an install number, the version and the licence state, never a patient or the clinic’s name. The clinic is the sole controller of its patient data and is responsible for backing it up and for who is given a login. Uninstalling removes the software, not the data.
They go together with the general terms of service and the privacy policy. In short, a licence:
- is for one clinic, on the one computer whose code it was made for, for the period paid;
- includes every member of the clinic’s staff and every device on the clinic’s network;
- may not be resold, sublicensed or shared with another clinic;
- does not permit reverse engineering, decompiling or changing KlinikFlow, or getting around its licence check;
- never gives AshuLabs any right over the clinic’s records, which are the clinic’s alone.
