Manual · version 3.0.0

The lab technician

How the lab technician uses KlinikFlow, screen by screen.

All manuals

For KlinikFlow 3.0.0. Each manual is checked against the app itself.

Who this is for

This manual is for the people who work in the clinic's laboratory: they draw samples, run tests, type or check results, attach scanned reports, and go out on home collections. It also covers the radiographer, because in KlinikFlow X-rays are taken under the same ready-made Lab technician role. A pathologist who signs reports and a radiologist who writes X-ray and scan reports hold extra permissions; their steps are included where the technician needs to know about them. What you see depends on the roles the owner has given you under Staff. If a screen or button in this manual is missing for you, your role does not include it. Ask the owner.

1. What the Lab technician role can do

The ready-made Lab technician role lets a person:

The sidebar shows Queue, Home collection, Analyser, Completed, Reports and Radiology.

The ready-made role does not include:

The owner can make a role of their own that adds any of these.

2. The payment gate: why a test is not in the queue

KlinikFlow does not send a test to the lab until it is paid for.

  1. The doctor orders the test.
  2. Reception bills it.
  3. When the bill is settled, the test appears in the lab queue at once. Nobody needs to refresh the screen.

If the bill is not settled, the test does not appear. The empty queue says so: "Unpaid orders never appear here."

There are three exceptions:

Each test that skipped the gate is written down, with why and who, for the owner to see.

Good to know. If a doctor says "I ordered a CBC and it isn't there", the bill is almost always not yet paid. Send the patient to reception.

The same gate applies to X-rays and ultrasound: a study joins the radiology worklist only once it is paid for, apart from the same exceptions.

3. The lab queue and its three tabs

Open Queue in the sidebar. The screen is called Lab queue. It has three tabs, each with a count of what is waiting:

Tab What it lists
To collect Patients whose paid tests are waiting to be drawn, grouped by tube. Tubes on their way from home collections, and samples at the bench.
Collected Tests waiting for a result. This is where you type values and attach reports.
To verify Results read by an analyser, waiting for you to check and release them.

The lists update by themselves when a bill is paid or a sample changes.

Every tab has a search box at the top: Scan a tube or type a name…. Scan a tube's barcode, or type a sample number, token or patient name, to narrow the list.

Good to know. A test appears on Collected as soon as it is paid, even before its tube is drawn. When it has been drawn through To collect, the sample number shows under the test name. A tube still on its way from a patient's home does not appear on Collected until it is received.

4. How to collect samples and label the tubes

Tests are grouped by tube type, so you draw three tubes rather than seven. The tube types are:

The tube for each test is set on the rate card by the owner.

To draw a patient's tubes

  1. Open Queue, then the To collect tab.
  2. Find the patient's card. It shows the name, age/sex, token, patient number and the time the bill was paid.
  3. Draw each tube. The Drawn box is ticked for every tube to begin with.
  4. If a tube could not be drawn this time (for example, no urine yet), untick it. It stays on the list, still to come.
  5. Press Collected — number the tubes.
  6. A Just drawn card appears with each tube's sample number, tube and tests.
  7. Press Print labels. The print dialog opens with one label per tube. Each label is 50 × 25 mm and shows the patient's name, age/sex, the sample number (as a barcode the analyser can read) and the tests.
  8. Stick each label on its tube. Press Done to close the card.

Sample numbers run through the day without gaps, for example S-261008-0031. Each sample is recorded under the name of the person who drew it.

To print a label again

  1. Open the To collect tab.
  2. Find the sample under At the bench.
  3. Press Label.

"Again" on a tube

If a tube shows Again: with a reason under it, it is a redraw. The first tube was rejected, never arrived from a home collection, or was not drawn at the house. The redraw is not billed again.

Good to know. If every tube for a patient is unticked, Collected — number the tubes cannot be pressed. Untick only the ones you really could not draw.

5. How to reject a sample

Reject a sample that cannot be tested: haemolysed, clotted, too little, wrong tube, or unlabelled.

  1. Open Queue, then the To collect tab.
  2. Find the sample under At the bench (or under From home collections).
  3. Press Reject.
  4. In Reject this sample?, tap a reason: Haemolysed, Clotted, Too little, Wrong tube or Unlabelled. Or type one in Reason.
  5. Press Reject. To change your mind, press Keep it.

What happens:

Good to know. A reason is required. You cannot reject a sample once any of its tests has a completed result.

6. How to enter a single result in the queue

Quick numeric tests, such as blood sugar or haemoglobin, are typed straight into the queue row.

  1. Open Queue. You are on the Collected tab.
  2. Choose Pending (tests waiting) or In progress above the table. In progress holds results already entered that are waiting for the pathologist's signature (section 13): they are not on the patient's record until signed.
  3. Find the test. The row shows the token, patient, test, ordering doctor, time ordered, and the unit and reference range under the test name.
  4. Type the value in the Result box.
  5. A flag appears as you type: Normal, High or Low.
  6. Press Enter, or press Save ⏎.

The test leaves the queue. The doctor who ordered it is told the result is in. If they are offline, it waits in their results list.

If the value is past a panic limit, a dialog stops you first. See section 9.

The row's Result column tells you what kind of test it is:

7. How to enter a panel or a text result

Use this for multi-analyte panels (lipid profile, LFT and so on), text results, or when you want to add remarks.

  1. Open Queue, then the Collected tab.
  2. Find the test and press Enter values (or Open).
  3. The test's page opens. The heading shows the test, token and patient.
  4. In the Values card, type each result in the Result column. Unit and Reference come from the rate card. Flag shows Normal, High or Low as you type.
  5. To add a line that is not listed, press + Add analyte and type its name and value.
  6. A result that is not a number (for example "Positive" or "Not seen") is saved as text.
  7. Type any notes in Technician remarks, for example "Sample collected fasting at 8:05 AM."
  8. Press Mark complete at the top. To leave without saving, press Cancel.

The Order card on the right shows who paid and the receipt, who ordered it and when, and who will be told (Notify on complete).

Good to know. Lines left empty are not saved. Once you press Mark complete the test leaves the queue; there is no screen for the technician to change a completed result. Check the values before you press it.

8. Reference ranges and flags

If a range is wrong or missing, ask the owner to correct it on the Rate card.

9. How to handle a critical value

A critical value is one past a panic limit. The owner sets panic limits on the rate card for single-value tests, and per analyte in each analyser's setup. KlinikFlow will not release a critical result until someone has told the doctor.

  1. Save the result as usual (press Enter, Save ⏎, Mark complete, or Verify and release).
  2. The dialog Tell the doctor first opens: "This result is past a panic limit. It is released once you have told the doctor — say who, and how."
  3. Phone or tell the doctor.
  4. In Told, type who you told and how, for example "Dr. Meera Iyer, by phone".
  5. Press Told — release. If you cannot reach the doctor yet, press Not yet; the result stays in the queue.

Who was told, by whom and when is recorded with the result.

Good to know. On the To verify tab a critical run is marked Critical in the list, and its critical rows are highlighted.

10. How to attach a scanned report (PDF or image)

A test can carry one or more files: the scanned report, a second page, a corrected copy.

From the queue row (quickest)

  1. Open Queue, then the Collected tab.
  2. Find the test and press Attach.
  3. Choose the file. The button reads Attaching… while it saves.
  4. A green message says the file was filed as report 1, 2 and so on. The doctor and the patient's record have it now.
  5. The row now shows Report (or 2 reports). Press it to open the file.

From the test's page

  1. Press Enter values or Open on the row.
  2. In the Reports card, press the file button under "Choose the scanned report — PDF, PNG or JPG" and choose the file.
  3. Each file filed is listed with its number, name, time, who attached it and its size. Press Open to view it.

Attach stays available after the first file, so you can add the second page or the radiologist's reading later.

Duplicates

KlinikFlow does not refuse a repeat file, because only you know whether it is a double-click or a corrected copy. It warns you in amber instead:

Both files are kept: "Filed as report 2; the earlier one is still there." The repeat is marked in amber in the list.

Good to know. Scanners that number from one every morning produce "scan001.pdf" for different patients. If you see the same-name warning, open both files and check you attached to the right test.

Attaching a file does not complete the test. Type the values (if any) and save, or press Mark complete.

11. Analysers: results from the machine

If the owner has connected an analyser, its results arrive in KlinikFlow by themselves, matched to the sample by the barcode on the tube label. Until an analyser is set up, results are typed in as before.

Open Analyser in the sidebar. The screen is called Analysers.

Connecting a machine (the owner, or whoever has the lab settings)

Press Connect an analyser. Four steps:

  1. The machine — search by brand or model (Sysmex, Mindray, Erba, Horiba, Roche, Snibe, Bio-Rad…) and choose it. Its usual settings are filled in. Not in the list? Another machine — set it up myself asks for them instead. Tested marks a machine KlinikFlow has been checked against; for the rest the settings are the maker's, and the test run in step 3 confirms them. A semi-automatic analyser that only prints its results is typed in, as before.
  2. The cable — choose how it is connected: - Network cable — it sends to this computer: the screen shows exactly what to type into the machine's LIS or host settings — this computer's address, the port, ASTM or HL7, bidirectional on or off. - Network cable — it waits to be called: type the machine's own address and port; KlinikFlow calls it, and calls again if the line drops. - Serial cable: choose the port (COM3); the usual speed is filled in. - No cable: its exported file is imported (below). Tick Send it the work list for a machine that asks which tests each barcode needs — then nobody chooses the tests on the machine. Press Save and try it.
  3. A test run — run one sample on the machine, or send its last results again. The screen says when it connects and what arrived. Nothing after two minutes? It lists what to check: the cable, the address and port, the protocol, the Windows firewall. See what it sent shows the messages; Save it for support downloads them for us.
  4. Its tests — every code the machine sent, matched to the rate card where it can be (HGB to the CBC's haemoglobin) with its unit and range. Choose a test for any it could not match, untick any you do not want, add panic limits, and press Done.

Set up beside a machine opens the same steps to change it.

Mock devices

To try KlinikFlow or train staff before a machine is connected, tick Set it up as a mock device in step 1 and choose the machine. Its usual tests are matched in step 4; then Send a test run (or … with values out of range) sends a run for the latest sample at the bench, as the machine would. Everything a mock sends is marked MOCK DEVICE RESULT — not a patient result: in To verify, on the report and on the printed page. It is never sent to the patient. When the machine arrives, Replace with the real machine keeps its tests and asks only for the connection.

What the list shows

Each analyser shows its name, kind, protocol (ASTM or HL7), how it connects, how many test codes it knows, and whether it is sent the work list. A chip shows its state:

The connection runs on the lab's own computer, so it works with the internet down. A frame garbled on the cable is refused and the machine sends it again. On KlinikFlow Cloud the machines cannot be reached from the cloud yet: import their files.

How to import a results file

  1. Open Analyser.
  2. Next to the analyser, press Import results file.
  3. Choose the export file (.txt, .astm, .hl7, .csv or .dat).
  4. A message says how many runs were read.
  5. Go to To verify to check them.

If nothing could be read, the message is "no results could be read from that — check it is the analyser's export".

How to match a result that was not matched

A result that cannot be matched to a sample is never guessed. It waits under Not matched, marked "no such sample at the bench" or "manual run".

  1. Open Analyser.
  2. Under Not matched, find the run.
  3. Type the right sample number in the box, for example S-261008-0031.
  4. Press Match. It moves to To verify.
  5. If the run is not wanted (a control, a test run), press Discard.

Good to know. Adding an analyser, its connection, and which of its codes is which test (Add analyser, Set up) is the owner's job. Panic limits and ranges for analyser results are set there too.

12. How to verify analyser results

Nothing from an analyser reaches the doctor or the patient until a technician has checked and released it.

  1. Open Queue, then the To verify tab (or press To verify on the Analysers screen).
  2. The left list shows each run: patient, sample number, analyser and the time received. Critical marks a run with a critical value.
  3. Choose a run. Its values appear on the right with unit, range and a flag (High, Low or Critical).
  4. Check each value. To correct one, type over it and press Enter (or click away). The row then shows "edited · analyser read …", so the machine's own value is kept beside yours.
  5. A CBC from a haematology analyser shows its WBC, RBC and PLT histograms under the values, as the machine drew them. Released, they go on the report under the CBC (unless the analyser keeps them off).
  6. If the analyser sent values for tests not ordered on this sample, they are listed under "Also sent, for no test on this sample".
  7. Type Remarks — optional if needed.
  8. Press Verify and release. Where the clinic needs a pathologist's signature, the button reads Verify — to the pathologist.
  9. If the run is critical, the Tell the doctor first dialog opens. See section 9.

To run the sample again on the machine instead, press Rerun. The run is set aside.

Held while a control is rejected

While an analyser's control for a test is rejected (see section 12a), that test's results from that machine, run after the failed control, wait. The run is marked Held · QC, the held value held · QC, and the banner says which control failed, when and why. The sample's other tests release as usual: the button reads Release the rest, and the run stays in To verify with the held test. Once the control is run again in control and the rejection is closed, the held test can be verified like any other.

A pathologist (with Sign lab reports) may release a held test that cannot wait: Release anyway… under it, the reason, Release anyway. The reason, with their name, is kept with the result and shown in its notes.

If the machine has controls and none was run today, the run says No control run today; it still releases.

12a. Quality control (QC)

Each morning, and after a calibration or a new reagent lot, run the control samples — the vials of known value, each level — through each analyser, as you would a patient's sample. KlinikFlow knows a control by the name the machine sends it as (set under the analyser's Controls), or by the machine marking it a control. A control is never matched to a patient.

  1. Open Queue, then the QC tab. Its count is what needs you.
  2. QC today lists each analyser's controls, each level, with its last run and its state: In control, Warning, Rejected or Not run today.
  3. Each value is checked by Westgard's rules against the control's target mean and SD: 1-2s (beyond 2 SD) warns; 1-3s (beyond 3 SD), 2-2s (two in a row beyond 2 SD on the same side, or two levels in one run) and R-4s (one level above 2 SD and another below) reject; 4-1s (four in a row beyond 1 SD on one side) and 10x (ten in a row on one side of the mean) warn of a trend.
  4. A rejected value is listed under Rejected with the rule it broke, and stays there until it is closed. Find the cause, then run the control again: the rerun shows beside it. Once the rerun is in control, press What was done…, choose what was done (reran the control, a fresh vial, recalibrated, a new reagent lot, maintenance, a service call), add a note and press Close it. Every rejection, what was done and the rerun are kept for the month's QC report.
  5. Which control is it? lists a run the machine marked a control that KlinikFlow could not place. Choose the control and press Place: it is checked, and the control keeps the name, so the next one is placed by itself. Discard one that is not a control the lab keeps.

The Levey-Jennings chart

Press Levey-Jennings on the QC tab, or Chart beside a control or a rejection. Choose the analyser, the test, the level and the month. Each run is a point across the month, against the target's mean and its 1, 2 and 3 SD bands; a point outside 2 SD is marked with the rule it broke. Below it are the month's n, mean, SD and CV% beside the target. A rejected run is drawn but not counted.

After 20 runs in control on a lot, the pathologist (or whoever sets up the analysers) may press Use our own to check that test against the lab's own mean and SD instead of the insert sheet's. Every change to a target is listed under the chart, with who made it.

The month's QC, printed

Print the month's QC (on the QC tab for this month, or on the Levey-Jennings chart for the month shown) prints, on the clinic's letterhead for reports: each machine, test and level with its n, mean, SD and CV% beside the target and how many runs warned or were rejected; every rejection with its rule, what was done, by whom and the rerun; results released while their control was rejected; targets set; a page of Levey-Jennings charts for each machine; and a line for the pathologist to review and sign. Each print is in the report log, like the Reports screen's.

How to enter a control run by hand

For a semi-automatic machine, or a test done at the bench: press + Enter a control run, choose the control, type each value and press Check it.

On a mock device (Analysers), Send a control run sends its first control on target, and … rejected sends it four SD off.

13. The pathologist's signature

Some states, or some clinics, require a pathologist to sign every lab report before the doctor sees it. The owner switches this on under Settings, in the Lab card: "Lab reports need a pathologist's signature before the doctor sees them".

When it is on:

How the pathologist signs (for staff with the signing permission)

  1. Open Sign reports in the sidebar. The screen is called Sign lab reports.
  2. Each waiting report shows the patient, the test, a summary of the values, its number, and who verified it and when.
  3. Normal reports are ticked already. An abnormal one (Abnormal) or critical one (Critical — doctor told) is left unticked, to look at first.
  4. Press Open to read any report in full.
  5. Tick the ones to sign, then press Sign N selected at the top.

The signed reports go to the doctors and the patient's record.

Good to know. The ready-made Lab technician role cannot sign. A pathologist is given the signing permission by the owner.

14. Turnaround targets

Turnaround is the time from paid to report released. The owner sets a target for each service and reads how the lab is doing on the owner's dashboard. Until the owner sets their own, the targets are:

Service Target
Lab · routine 4 hours
Lab · home collection 8 hours
X-ray 1 hour
Ultrasound 1 hour

A target can be anything from 5 minutes to 7 days. The owner's screen also shows the share of samples rejected and how quickly critical values were called.

Good to know. The clock starts when the bill is paid, not when you draw the sample. A test that waits long on To collect counts against the lab.

15. Home collection

The desk books home collections like appointments and takes the money. The lab's collector draws the samples at the house, and the lab receives the tubes when they arrive.

How to see a day's run sheet

  1. Open Home collection in the sidebar.
  2. Choose the day in the date box at the top. It opens on tomorrow.
  3. Each booking shows the time, patient, address and phone, tests, collector, and any note (for example "Come fasting; ring twice").
  4. A chip shows Paid (with how) or To pay with the amount.
  5. Press Print run sheet to take it on paper.

KlinikFlow runs on the clinic's own computer, so the collector's phone cannot reach it from a patient's house. Take the paper run sheet, and record the draw when you are back.

How to record a home draw

  1. Open Home collection and choose the day.
  2. On the booking, press Collected.
  3. In Drawn at home, choose the Collector who actually drew the tubes (it may be someone other than the person booked).
  4. Under Tubes drawn, untick any tube that could not be drawn. It stays on the lab's list, still to come.
  5. Press Collected.
  6. The Just drawn card shows the sample numbers. Press Print labels, label the tubes, then Done.

Each tube carries the collector's name. The run sheet now shows each tube's state: to draw, on the way, received, rejected or missing.

How to receive home samples at the lab

  1. Open Queue, then the To collect tab.
  2. Under From home collections, find each tube.
  3. Press Received when the tube is in your hand.

The Received button cannot be pressed while the tube shows To pay. The desk must settle the bill first. This is where the payment gate sits for home collections.

When a tube never arrives

  1. Under From home collections, press Never arrived on the tube.
  2. In This tube never arrived?, press Record as missing. If it may still turn up, press It may still come.

Its tests go back to be drawn again. The patient is called back, and the redraw is not billed again. You can also Reject a home tube on arrival, as in section 5.

Good to know. Booking, cancelling and taking payment for a home collection are done at the desk. A collection already paid for cannot be cancelled until the bill is refunded.

16. Tests for patients admitted in a bed

A patient admitted in a bed is treated first and settles the bill at discharge. So their tests do not wait for payment.

  1. The doctor orders it on their round (the stay's Rounds tab), or the ward adds it to the stay's bill.
  2. It is charged to the stay's running bill.
  3. It appears in the lab queue at once, like any paid test.
  4. Draw, test and report it in the usual way.

On the ward, the stay's Orders tab lists everything ordered in the stay, with Goes to (for example Lab) and Where it is. Nurses and doctors use it to see whether a test is done.

X-rays for a patient in a bed reach the radiology worklist at once in the same way.

Good to know. Each test that skipped the payment gate because the patient is in a bed is written down for the owner. You do not need to do anything.

17. Radiology: taking an X-ray

The ready-made Lab technician role takes X-rays. Open Radiology in the sidebar.

The worklist

At the top, chips filter the list: Waiting, In the room, To report and Finished today, each with a count. The Worklist shows each study's token, patient, the study, who ordered it, and how long the patient has been waiting.

A study's chip shows where it is: Waiting, In the room, To report, Film to the doctor or Reported. Form F first means it is an ultrasound waiting for Form F.

How to take an X-ray

  1. Open Radiology. Stay on Waiting.
  2. Choose the patient in the Worklist.
  3. For a woman aged 12 to 50, KlinikFlow asks Could she be pregnant? Tap No, Yes or Not sure. You must answer before you can go on.
  4. If you tapped Yes or Not sure, ask the ordering doctor. Tick "Doctor was asked and agreed to the X-ray." KlinikFlow will not take the patient in without it.
  5. Press Take in. The study moves to In the room, under your name and the time.
  6. Take the film.
  7. Press X-ray taken.

Where the X-ray goes next depends on the rate card:

How to attach the images

Once the patient has been taken in, the study shows Images — the machine's own export.

  1. Export the image from the X-ray machine as JPG, PNG or PDF.
  2. Press Attach image and choose the file (up to 25 MB).
  3. The file name appears as a link. Press it to open it.

These images are for the record and the patient, not for diagnostic reading. The radiologist reads on the machine.

18. Radiology: ultrasound, Form F and the radiologist's report

Ultrasound

An ultrasound is done by a doctor who reports scans, not by the radiographer. The button reads Start the scan, but KlinikFlow refuses it for anyone who is not marked as reporting X-rays and scans: "an ultrasound is done by a doctor who reports scans".

Form F (PCPNDT)

Any ultrasound of a woman who may be pregnant needs a complete Form F under the PCPNDT Act before the scan can start.

The ready-made Lab technician role does not include filling Form F or keeping its register. If a study shows Form F first, tell reception or the radiologist.

The radiologist's report

A radiologist (a doctor with the reporting permission) writes the report on the same screen:

  1. They choose the study under To report (or an ultrasound In the room).
  2. They can tap a saved template, or press Save as template.
  3. They fill Clinical details — from the consultation, Findings and Impression.
  4. Save draft keeps it unfinished. Sign and release numbers it and sends it to the history, the ordering doctor, and the patient if they agreed to messages.

A signed report is never edited. It then shows Open report and Print report. An ultrasound report carries the centre's PCPNDT registration and the declaration that the sex of the foetus was neither detected nor disclosed.

The machine's own images (DICOM)

On a study, under Images — as the machine made them:

19. How to print or send a report

Every lab or radiology report opens in the same report viewer.

How to open a report

Any of these opens it:

What the viewer shows

Chips across the top switch between:

Images can be zoomed (−, Fit, +), brightened, inverted, shown ⤢ Full screen or in their ⧉ Own window.

How to print

  1. Open the report.
  2. Choose the tab to print: the result, or a scanned file.
  3. Press Print. KlinikFlow's print dialog opens. Choose the printer and paper there.

A radiology report prints on the clinic's letterhead from Print report on the study.

How to send it on WhatsApp

The WhatsApp button appears only when the patient agreed to WhatsApp messages and has a mobile number on record. For radiology, it appears once the report is signed.

  1. Open the report.
  2. Press WhatsApp.
  3. Depending on how the clinic has set up messages, either: - WhatsApp opens with the message typed, and the report file is downloaded beside it for you to attach; or - the message goes to the clinic's WhatsApp outbox ("Sent to the outbox for WhatsApp").

Download saves the file you are looking at.

Good to know. Printing, downloading and sending a report are recorded against your name in the record-access log. Separately, the owner can switch on an automatic "report ready" message under Settings; it is off unless they turn it on.

20. Completed work and the Reports list

To find an older result, search for the patient in the top bar and open their record.

21. Common problems

A doctor says they ordered a test but it is not in the queue. The bill is not paid. Unpaid orders never appear. Send the patient to reception. (Casualty and in-bed patients are the exception.)

I cannot press Received on a home sample. It shows To pay. The desk must settle the bill first.

The analyser result is not on To verify. Look under Not matched on the Analysers screen. The barcode may not have been read, or the sample may not be at the bench yet (a home tube not yet Received). Type the sample number and press Match.

The analyser shows Not connected or Not listening. Read the error under it. Check the cable or network and that the machine is switched on. The owner can check the port settings under Set up. Meanwhile, use Import results file or type results by hand.

I pressed Save and got "Tell the doctor first". The value is past a panic limit. Tell the doctor, type who you told, and press Told — release.

The flag is wrong, or a test has no range. Ranges come from the rate card (or the analyser setup). Ask the owner to correct them.

I attached the wrong file. Files are not deleted from the lab screens. Attach the right file as well and tell the doctor which one is correct. Ask the owner about removing the wrong one.

I saved a wrong result. A completed result cannot be changed from the lab screens. Tell the ordering doctor at once, and ask the owner how the clinic corrects it.

I cannot reject a sample. One of its tests already has a completed result, or it has moved on. Refresh the list.

"that sample has moved on — refresh the list" or "that study is not at that step any more" Someone else has acted on it. The screen refreshes itself; try again.

The X-ray will not take the patient in. Answer Could she be pregnant?. If the answer is Yes or Not sure, ask the ordering doctor and tick that they agreed.

"an ultrasound is done by a doctor who reports scans" Ultrasound is not the radiographer's. Leave it for the radiologist.

A study shows Form F first. The scan cannot start until Form F is complete. Tell reception or the radiologist.

The WhatsApp button is missing. The patient has not agreed to WhatsApp messages, or has no mobile number on record. The desk can update this. Print the report instead.

A screen in this manual is missing from my sidebar. Your role does not include it. Ask the owner.
